Lisette Nap was born in the Netherlands and grew up in Australia, where she graduated from high school in the top 10 percent of her class. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in behavioral science and psychology from Griffith University. She also holds various certifications in leadership, public speaking, coaching, sales, strategy management and negotiation. Ms. Nap is currently the director of global tender management at DB Schenker, the world’s second largest international transportation and logistics provider that offers a variety of supply chain management and logistics services. 

Ms. Nap started her career as a key account manager and steadily worked her way up the ranks in the company to earn a director position. As the director of global tender management, she manages $5 billion in opportunities annually, she oversees a global team of 25 based in Singapore, Germany, Brazil and America, she leads a team in the management of global tenders for the company’s top 150 customers, she facilitates and leads the full-tender process from the pre-tender to post-tender phase, and coaches the team to maximize sales opportunities in tenders and to drive strategy in RFQs that ensures solution design. Ms. Nap also drives internal business improvement within sales, and standardizes and simplifies processes for lean management and fine-tuned, professional tender handling.

Ms. Nap attributes her success in her career to her hard work, honesty, passion, decisiveness, loyalty, open mindedness, and ability to communicate to a broader audience without being afraid to make mistakes. In the coming years, she hopes to move into a new position, as she does regularly every two to three years. She would also like to be involved in working with the Latin America, or Middle East and Africa regions, and further develop her strategy management skills.
