Denise Wilkins is a Licensed Minister, Certified Life/Crisis Coach, Youth Advocate and Motivational Speaker. She’s passionate and dedicated to making a difference in the lives that she touches. Having overcome tragic events which have occurred in her personal life, she knew that finding the strength to help others avoid similar circumstances was necessary, and so she has pursued the birthing of the Justin L Davis Foundation, Inc. Ms. Wilkins spent twenty-two years pursuing her passion, which was being a youth counselor/coach, and minister, motivational speaker, to youth and adults in both the secular and Christian community, her expertise is with at-risk youth.

Ms. Wilkins’ life’s work was building character in youth. She started in her own home with her youth, and branched out to youth throughout schools, recreation centers, juvenile detentions centers and communities of the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Denise woke up one day faced with the horrific news that her twenty-two year old son, Justin was murdered. He had suffered with a depression, that lead to a horrible addiction which put him on the path to his death. She lost her desire to reach youth completely. After about a year, sifting through her emotions she discovered a posture of rest. Finally in rest, God spoke. To her surprise, He gave her a heart for youth again and a brand new vision called, “Discover the Champion in You!” Youth today are suffering and need support, and she is excited that God has called her to be one of His agents to provide a much needed solution to todays youth mental health problem.

Ms. Wilkins believes that life’s experiences have been her greatest teacher. God has allowed her to go into and come out of multiple situations victoriously. It was her life’s journey that has made her the person she is today. Her work involves the human soul and spirit, and living is the best lesson. She is also a Licensed Minister and Certified Life/Crisis Coach.
