Senior Designer of Snaidero USA, Allison Ortiz continues in her 19^th year at the company, garnering more than two decades of experience in the field. This current position is her greatest accomplishment, including being a top seller for the company and raising her children to fly on their own wings. The advice Ms. Ortiz can give to the younger generation of women today is to be dedicated and keep updating yourself within your industry. Always keep customer service first.

As a women in today’s world, Ms. Ortiz feels her dedication and setting small goals to work towards and achieve has contributed to her success.  The support of her two kids, who are currently in school, has helped as well.  They know how important her work is to her.  Allison’s customer service skills also help. Her biggest challenge was starting her career building hotel in the Caribbean, a woman in hotel construction and proving herself and breaking grounds in both islands and educating people who didn’t have the knowledge of what a module kitchen was.

Ms. Ortiz is inspired by what she does, the challenges, the clients that are very particular, the details and every project that is different. She received a degree in interior design from the Architecture and Design from the Dominican Republic and a design degree from Chavon School of Design. Ms. Ortiz’s professional goal is to expand her career and help the growth of the company.
