Jane Button draws upon five years of construction law experience, currently working as a legal practitioner and director of Jane Button & Associates. Through her property conveyance company, she provides commercial and retail leasing, sales, business purchasing and property development law. Ms. Button keeps abreast for changes and networking in her profession though memberships with the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators, Law Society of Australia, and Women in Business Network.

Initially, Ms. Button became involved in her profession after being exposed to the law. She then earned a diploma at the University of Sydney and pursued a career in the legal arena. She advises young professionals entering their career is to do the, ‘Landmark Forum,’ which changed her life! In five years, Ms. Button hopes to expand the law practice.

Ms. Button is the founder of the Northern Villages OOSH (NSW). She has had two mentions in the Parliamentary Hansard; the first of which was in Peta Seaton’s maiden speech (NSW Parliament) in relation to her endeavors to change transport policy. In her spare time, she sits on the board of a school.
