With three and a half decades of experience in health care, Dr. Rohyans has achieved professional success through her specialty in pediatric medicine. Previously, in private practice with the practice that she founded, Olentangy Pediatrics, Inc., and then at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, she not only treated patients, but also worked with the administration at the hospital and as a consultant. Additionally, she taught a multitude of medical students, nurse practitioner students and pediatric residents. She also serves as an expert witness for the defense regarding pediatric medical concerns. Dr. Rohyans became involved in her field through her interest in genetics, which eventually evolved into a passion for pediatric medicine.

Dr. Rohyans excels in her field due to a combination of her prior industry experiences and her educational background, which includes an MD from The Ohio State University. She maintains affiliation with the industry through the American Academy of Pediatrics, where she is a media liaison and the former media chair of the Ohio chapter. Looking ahead, Dr. Rohyans expects to continue working in the medical field and become more involved in speaking engagements.
