Having only been director of diversity and inclusion at Oracle for five years, Barbara Williams Hardy draws upon years of human resources experience to help the information technology company. As she is constantly learning, professionally and personally, she feels that her relationships with customers and coworkers is how she adapts well to changes and new responsibilities within her position. Ms. Williams Hardy finds inspiration opening the eyes of others so they can see their full potential and bring more to the company and their careers.

The advice that Ms. Williams Hardy would like to share with the younger generation of women entering the workforce is that in corporate America it is important to work and communicate together. She prepared for this career by having obtained a Master of Science in information technology, where she developed an insatiable curiosity for innovative strategy and not being afraid to fail. During her free-time, Ms. Williams Hardy supports the missions of Lend A Hand Foundation, and enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog, going to museums, reading, spending time outdoors, interior design and spending time with family and friends.
