Having provided 28 years of high education administration, Anne Schroer-Lamont retired as associate dean and university counselor at Washington and Lee University. She heard a Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado, and also took a four year Ministry Course at the University of the South. Ms. Schroer-Lamont would like to be remembered as a person who loved life, people, teaching, and a person who set an example.
Ms. Schroer-Lamont is a lifetime member of both the American Psychological Association and the Clinical Mental Health Association. She is also a member of the American Association of university Women for 30 years. Ms. Schroer-Lamont also belongs to the Breast Cancer Association and Woman To Woman.
The biggest challenge was that Ms. Schroer-Lamont was paid unfairly for the same work as males. However, her parents inspired her; her father was a music professor. During her free-time, Ms. Schroer-Lamont loves to fly fish, walk, bike, play tennis, read and do volunteer work in her community.
