Debbie McCloskey began as a developer and it evolved into the pre-sales side, and chose her career path because of her interest in computers. Currently, she serves as senior sales consultant at Oracle, the computer hardware innovator. Ms. McCloskey prepared for this career by going to school for a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

The biggest challenge Ms. McCloskey has overcome was working in a male dominated industry, drawing upon her strengths in adaptability to change and harnessing an easy-going nature. Her greatest accomplishment to date is helping and educating colleagues, co-workers and customers with knowledge about the products and industry. The one aspect of Ms. McCloskey’s working condition she would most like to change is to see more women in executive roles.

Ms. McCloskey’s professional goal is to see more cooperation between men and women to develop a better working relationship. She would most want to be remembered as a helpful and trustworthy person. During her free-time, Ms. McCloskey enjoys skiing, reading, going to the beach, and attending her children’s sporting events.
