Wielding 26 years of experience in aviation and aerospace, Vickie Sandy has served Lockheed Martin Corporation as an air traffic control specialist for the government aerospace company providing aviation services, including civil aviation safety regulations, airspace and air traffic management, air navigation facilities, civil aviation, commercial space transportation, research, development and engineering solutions. There, she oversees civilian aviation and flight plans, whilst consulting and advising on flight restrictions and meteorological conditions. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ms. Sandy worked for the Information Technologies Division and Flight Services Branch of Lockheed Martin Corporation and the Automated Flight Service Station at Federal Aviation Administration. She attributes her success to the love and support she received from her late parents, Willard and Wilma. Ms. Sandy speaks publicly on topics relating to safety and CPR. She is a trained paramedic and emergency medical technician, and worked in the emergency medical field for 15 years.
