Her professional goals include the consideration of retirement possibly, at end of this year, but will continue to contribute on her own time and schedule. Although her retirement is near, she has always been inspired to by bringing fresh new perspectives to her business in the Disability Income field which impacts so many.

As a woman in today’s world, Annette Gibbs attributes her success to her positive outlook in life. She says that, “You will have a good outcome, both in your personal and business life when you think positively.” She is very optimistic which results in her being consistent in her life. Ms. Gibbs chose this career path because it offered her the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others that is very meaningful to them. She has always had the mindset of a career that had purpose and meaning, and which impacted lives of others.  Although she livse in Canada where her career path started with Sun Life Financial, her knowledge and experience has led her career to a leadership role in the U.S.

Ms. Gibbs’ greatest accomplishment is in her prior leadership roles for putting her stamp on organizational skills and turning projects around for the better.  The great enthusiasm she brings to all her leadership roles have impacted the whole team effort. One aspect of her profession she’d change is how results are market driven on quarterly cycles versus long term cycles. Ms. Gibbs most wants to be remembered as putting a stamp and leaving a footprint on caring for the health of others.
