Drawing upon her hard work and courage, Catherine Maragnue continues to find her success as director of finance and administration for the Yukon Government through taking challenges head-on. There, she manages the the budget of the Public Service Commission, as well as cash flow management, while overseeing information management systems. Ms. Maragnue also supervises the commission’s information technology systems and privacy systems.

An expert in analytical services and people-skills, Ms. Maragnue’s adaptable nature has helped her throughout her career, even when she was working for another government group. She received an MBA in finance from The University of British Columbia in 2003, and continues to keep abreast of changes in her profession through her membership with Canada Tax Program. In five years, Ms. Marangu intends to move into a more senior position in public service.
