Drawing upon her corporate and non-profit experiences and leadership skills, Ernestine Johnson continues in her 30^th year of financial management services. As she is an independent financial manager and adviser, she has also established an advocacy program that assists elderly citizens who have found themselves without public assisted benefits. Finding her inspiration through her faith in God, Dr. Johnson’s number one goal is to find other individual who have the same ambitions and aspirations to help others.

The one aspect of Dr. Johnson’s working condition she would change is adding stronger leadership to the field and encouraging others to reach out. The advise she offers the younger generation of female professionals is “Receive an education and seek a mentor, do not quit or ever give up. Do not let anyone kill your dream or discourage you. Be a part of various Boards as well.” Dr. Johnson graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Ph.D. in public services, and keeps abreast of changes in her profession through networking with the National Association of Professional Women.
