Nearly 45 years in the government contracting area, Linda Cutlip can say she has seen it all. For the past eight years, she has bee director of contracts and compliance at KSH Solutions Inc., negotiation contracts, improving infrastructure by streamlining processes, training personnel, and performing  cost accounting duties and overseeing business development. Ms. Cutlip attributes her success to her college professors and her analytical mind, and initially became involved in her profession after being presented with the opportunity.

Ms. Cutlip encourages women entering the workforce to research what they want to do, take inventory, and take courses in their desired field. She also believes holding memberships with career-oriented groups helps, as she keeps abreast of changes in her profession through the Charleston Defense Contractors Association, National Contract Management Association, AFCEA, and National Audubon Society, Inc. In five years, Ms. Cutlip plans to expand her company.

During her free-time, Ms. Curlip supports the ASPCA and the AUSA.
