Kathleen Sarniak has more than 25 years of experience in operations, sales management, marketing, production, and distribution with particularly strong skills in negotiations, cultivating strong business partnerships, financial planning and new product innovation. She has an excellent record of achievement and advancement earned through demonstrated contribution to bottom line results. For the past 12 years, she has served as chief executive officer of Jeannette Specialty Glass.

An expertise in negotiation, Ms. Sarniak-Tanzola overall vision is to expand the business and launch an exciting new line of bake wear, drawing upon her turn-around rate and excellent leadership skills. The biggest challenge of her career has been learning the manufacturing end of business to provide better products and insight on creative processes. Her greatest accomplishment to date is her 27 year old song, who is also the general manager of her business. The change Ms. Sarniak-Tanzola would like to see most in her company is faster business development so that more avenues could open up for their services.

Ms. Sarniak-Tanzola received a Bachelor of Science in political science and economics from Seton Hill University in 1978. All of her current employees are under the age of 20, and it inspires her in youthful ways throughout the day, as well as helping with keeping atop of current trends. She is the recipient of the Pittsburgh Business Times’ 2012 “Manufacturer of the Year,” Pittsburgh Business Times’ 2013 “Women in Business” award, and Westmoreland County 2013 Athena Award. During her free-time, Ms. Sarniak-Tanzola enjoys hanging out with her family and grandson.
