Following her childhood dream to become a nurse, Marcia Chung became involved in health care education 49 years ago, and has served as a registered nurse at Loma Linda University for the past 27 years. There, she helps train students seeking health care education through leading by example, as she is an expert in physician assistance and glycoscientific research. Ms. Chung treats all of the patients assigned to her at the university hospital, and performs research on the immune system and autoimmune diseases while teaching and personally learning new things.

Ms. Chung is also the owner of Halo Health, a health care marketing firm located in Redlands, Calif. Through Halo Health, she sells nutritional products to a close knit set of customers, which she is always trying to expand. As an expert in nutritional products and education, Ms. Chung consults with her customers on anti-aging and weight loss methods, and instructs them how to integrate these processes in to their daily lives.

In 1982, Ms. Chung received a Master of Science in health sciences from the University of Oregon. She continues to keep abreast of changes in her career through her memberships with the Professional Business Women’s Association and American Nurses Association. In her free-time, Ms. Chung enjoys traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
