Ms. Binette Munn has 36 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout her career, she has honed her professional skills in the areas of manufacturing operations as well as quality operations. Lately, her responsibilities as a consultant at Validant/Quintiles include developing an Inspection Readiness Tool to assist EMEA sites achieve and maintain regulatory requirements compliance of various authorities such as the FDA, ANSM, and others, ensuring that high quality products are manufactured and distributed worldwide.
In the past, Ms. Binette Munn has developed automated manufacturing processes. She worked as a business development director selling manufacturing services in Canada, Europe, South America, where she also developed her project management skills. She was also responsible for the technical development group, managing a development team responsible for close to one hundred projects. Ms. Binette Munn attributes her many professional successes to her patience and tenacity. She received a Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the University of Montreal, where her interest in the industry was piqued. Because of her work in school, she eventually decided to pursue a career in the business side of the field.
In order to bolster her professional skills outside of the pharmaceutical industry, Ms. Binette Munn has taken multiple courses in business administration at the London School of Business & Finance, Duke University, and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Today, she maintains affiliation with PDA. In 2001, she was awarded the Aventis Chairman Award, as well as the CEO Award, and she received a certificate from Abbott Laboratories. She volunteers her time with various charitable organizations. In the future, Ms. Binette Munn hopes to do more consulting and mentoring in her field.
