Teresa Lane has provided Hair U Wear with her expertise as Director of Design for more than 16 years, accumulating numerous patents for inventing hair pieces & extensions which are both beautiful and user friendly. She draws upon years of prior experience & knowledge as a business owner, a licensed cosmetologist and supervisor for several professional beauty salons.

Having the most humble of beginnings in Mooresville, Indiana, a self-owned & operated salon “Tresses by Teresa” led to much greater opportunities with Glemby International where she groomed a long-term relationship with the Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders.  Lane siezed upon the idea to offer her talents with Glemby’s service, negotiated contracts and implemented a business plan which involved her managing every aspect on behalf of Glemby.

Aside from personal attention with great care given to the Colt’s cheerleaders, Ms. Lane had oversight of twenty-two locations simultaneously for Glemby’s beauty salons and she provided management training, promotion & advertising, customer service and was responsible for more than 200 employees and products before Revlon Professional tapped her shoulder to become the National Accounts Manager for their offices in New York.

Teresa developed specialized, educational programs for Revlon’s professional products and customers which garnered the attention of General Wig, a division of Revlon which then hired her as Director 0f Design and for the supervision of production & quality control with Revlon factories in Asia.

Lane’s growing reputation as a world-class designer preceded her introduction to Hair-U-Wear’s brand, as they recruited Teresa to develop their “P0P” collection along with several other lines, including “Hair-Do” by Jessica Simpson & Ken Paves.

Teresa finds her greatest strengths with seeing trends in fashion before they may happen, also matched by a positive outlook on absolutely everything… Lane’s advice to young professional women is to think positive always and be committed to solving difficult problems, no matter how hard… also, never give up pursuit of one’s dreams!

Ms. Lane’s confident nature is inspired mostly by her mother’s encouragement and teachings as such, a positive attitude can make tremendous impact on other people’s lives… thusly, Teresa hopes to empower women everywhere by demonstrating with personal stories of her own perseverance and struggles as a single, working mother how anyone may achieve their goals for happiness & greater success… two of Teresa’s best and very proudest accomplishments are her wonderful daughter & son, along with seven incredibly gifted grandchildren.
