Entering her 11^th year at Citigroup Inc., Elizabeth Hook currently holds the positions of director and associate general counsel, wielding expertise in labor and employment law. There, she works tirelessly to provide clients with innovative banking solutions that are simple, creative and responsible, delivering products and services the go above and beyond expectation, while obtaining company and client goals along the way. Professionally, Ms. Hook’s greatest accomplishment has been reaching the level she currently holds in-house, while also working with clients and building relationships.

Prior to Citigroup Inc., Ms. Hook was conducting general litigation in labor and employment law when the opportunity presented itself; it was a very natural progression for her. The biggest challenge of her entire career has been networking with women and finding female mentors in the legal profession. Her advice to women entering in the workforce today is to learn from each job they obtain, observe others’ work ethics and draw from their best qualities, and generally to find who they are as a professional. Ms. Hook attributes the pursuit of her goals and dreams as inspiration for her to succeed and prevail.

Ms. Hook prepared for this career by obtaining a Juris Doctorate from Pace University, School of Law. Her greatest accomplishment to date personally is her family and my grandchildren.
