Fluent in English and Spanish, Ms. Cabral is undoubtedly a well-rounded professional in her industry.

Ms. Cabral chose to lend her skill-set and expertise to Johnson & Johnson since it provided her with development opportunities in the medical device industry. She has attended various quality training seminars in order to keep abreast of her industry and, as such, has demonstrated a keen knack for continued growth.

Despite Ms. Cabral’s sustained success in the medical device industry, she admits that she has had to overcome obstacles to reach her goals. As a Latin woman, Ms. Cabral notes that it has sometimes been a challenge to build her confidence and earn the respect from other professionals. She has smoothly surpassed such challenges, believing her success as a woman in the business world to stem from wonderful opportunities she has been privy to.

Believing her greatest strength to be acting as a leader for others, Ms. Cabral also works with a mentoring program at the company, where she mentors both men and women. The advice she offers to young women entering the workforce is: “Don’t be afraid to be yourself. Go for your dreams and stay focused. Do not create barriers in your mind.”

Looking ahead, Ms. Cabral intends to continue to grow professionally and expand her career. Consistently inspired by the knowledge that she is contributing to saving lives, she hopes to be seen and remembered fondly as a professional who is dedicated to developing strong teams.
