Celebrating nearly 40 years in the insurance industry, Julia Hersh continues in her 13^th year at the Stillwater Insurance Company as a customer service management. There, she helps the agency provide homeowner, automotive, watercraft, recreational vehicle, and umbrella insurance for clients in and around the Santa Barbara, Calif. area. Ms. Hersh is an expert in insurance training and customer service, and currently handles troubleshooting, department management, and working closely with human resources.

Initially, Ms. Hersh became involved in her profession after being asked to join the insurance industry. She attributes her success to her family’s support. The most gratifying aspect of her career is helping the next generation learn and grow in the insurance industry. Since pursuing business management coursework at Columbia University, Ms. Hersh keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with the the National Association for Insurance Women.
