For 30 years, Denise Barnes has been known to treat payroll management and software implementation as customer service roles, dealing with a close-to-the-heart subject such as finances and bookkeeping. As a compassionate and friendly industry specialist, she meets her deadlines, processes high volume payrolls as a manager, and transitions large companies by training them on the use of new software. Ms. Barnes demonstrates her ability to confidently educate and lead payroll staff in achieving positive results.
Having only been an entrepreneur for about a year, Ms. Barnes has been contacted to manage a New Sound Wales implementation team, transitioning 14 regional NSW Ramsay Healthcare Hospitals into using Kronos Time for time sheets, and attendance finger scanning software. She completed this at the same time as transitioning the company into a newly created payroll hub within Sydney. Prior to going off on her own in business, Ms. Barnes was working as a payroll manager for Ramsay Health Care, but decided to take her expertise, and build it professionally on her own.
The most gratifying aspect of Ms. Barnes’ career is the appreciation she feels when she receives gratitude from those she has helped. She is a certified payroll specialist, obtained a Certificate IV in business management, and is a certified energy healer. To keep abreast of changes in her professional field, she holds memberships with The Association of Payroll Specialists and Ramsay Health Care. In five years, she expects continued professional growth.
