As a woman in today’s world, what has contributed to Dr. Kanumury’s success is her constant hard work. The advice she would give the younger generation of women entering the work force is to be open to opportunities. She advises them to make a wish and go for it. There are many organizations that have made a difference in Dr. Kanumury’s profession including the American College of Allergy & Immunology, the American Association of Indian Physicians (AAPI), the Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce, and the American Board of Holistic and Integrated Medicine (ABHIM)

Dr. Kanumury is a life member of the National Registry, and was recgonised as one of America’s top physicians of allergy and immunology through the Consumer Research Counsil of America from 2009 to 2015.
