Weilding 20 years of technical building expertise, Rebecca Pizzi continues to garner seasoned experience at Skanska USA. For 17 years, she has served the construction management firm, and currently provides a role as project executive. In five years, Ms. Pizzi hopes for further growth in her career.

Throughout her work-week, Ms. Pizzi oversees all projects from pre-construction through design, planning and completion, while interfacing with clients. She attributes her success to her knowledge of the construction industry and became involved in the profession because of this honed-in technical expertise. Now, Ms. Pizzi’s main goal is to provide the construction management firm with pre-construction services, project oversight, and client satisfaction. Ms. Pizzi received a certification in LEED BD & C from Dale Carnegie Training and is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. She received IV Champion, and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and National Association of Women in Construction. During her free-time, Ms. Pizzi spends time with her three children.

As a woman in today’s world, Ms. Pizzi believes being level-headed, working hard, and never feeling like she should compromise has given her a step up in her profession. There have also been many key people that have helped her along the way, teaching her the importance of work ethic and being strong within a male-dominated industry. To younger females entering the arena, Ms. Pizzi suggests they role up their sleeves and getting the job done, while learning as much as you can, focusing on the job at-hand, and not worrying what others are doing.
