Celebrating her first year at Summit Radiology, Dr. I. Rekha Meesa continues garner valuable experience in the radiology field in her current role as diagnostic radiologist. An expert in pediatric radiology and neuroradiology, she interprets and dictates various imaging studies performed on patients in the hospital, emergency department, and outpatient centers. She also participates in various flouroscopy, CT/MRI/US guided procedures, attends and presents at local and national conferences, and conducts research focused on pediatric, neuro, and oncology imaging. Prior to joining Summit Radiology, Dr. Meesa worked as a software engineer at Motorola.

Dr. Meesa attributes her success to her high level of motivation for her work and initially became involved in her profession because she intends to help her community. In preparation for her current position, she became an MD in 2007 through Indiana University, received a radiology residency at the Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners, and two fellowships, one in neuroradiology at the University of Michigan and the other in pediatric radiology. Since beginning in the profession, Dr. Meesa has earned the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award, including multiple research awards.
