Celebrating her 37^th year of social work services, Cheryl Hirst Hodgins continues as owner of the Institute for Human Resources, Inc. Through Institute for Human Resources, Inc., she provides counseling services for pregnant women in need of help to forensic counseling for those with drug and alcohol problems in Chester Heights, Penn. Ms. Hirst-Hodgins’ expertise is in cognitive therapy and forensics, drug and alcohol counseling. She keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with National Association of Social Workers, and is a board member through the Delaware County Women’s Committee.

In 2015 Ms. Hirst Hodgins is launching a virtual online counseling center that will provide caring counseling and coaching for those dealing with loss, as well as veterans and their families. She is currently in the pursuit of earning a Ph.D. in human services, having already obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas. The most gratifying aspect of Ms. Hirst Hodgins’ career is creating the institute for human resources after having a great career at Westchester University.
