Wielding an insatiable work-ethic, Melissa Bracco continues in her 10th year at Veteran’s Administration and Sam Rayburn Memorial Veteran’s Center as a Dems program manager and industrial hygienist. Through both roles, she draws upon her expertise in environmental science and chemistry to ensure all hazmat lockers are organized and compatible, and all waste is dumped into the proper designated containers. In five years, Ms. Bracco hopes to pursue a Master of Arts and assume a civilian position in the environmental industry.
Ms. Bracco has previously received a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry through Colorado State University. She has served in the U.S. Army, The National Guard and the U.S. Navy, having professionally served the country for a total of 21 years. Initially, Ms. Bracco became involved in her profession because of her desire to help people and protect the environment.
