Ms. Lovvorn is pursuing a master’s degree in nursing. The highlight of her career was hearing her former clinical nurse manager stating that she furthered her education and was promoted as the director of emergency nursing leadership through her inspiration and leadership. In five years, Ms. Olson-Lovvorn hopes to utilize her work-related experience and knowledge to teach new nursing leaders, and complete the nurse executive certification.

Ms. Olson-Lovvorn attributes her success to her passion for nursing and desire to create excellence in all areas of her professional and personal life. She also credits her success to Colleen Hallberg, who explained the importance of humility and balance in one’s life. Initially, Ms. Olson-Lovvorn became involved in her profession after she was inspired by her grandmother, a nurse.
