The advice Julie Christiansen would give the younger generation of women entering the workforce is to be a lifelong learner. Society has changed dramatically since she graduated college in 1991.  Ms. Christiansen believes one must have to be able to stay on top of things, but you must have compassion for people and thick skin. In five years, Ms. Christiansen hopes to publish more of her work.

As a woman in today’s world, what has contributed to Ms. Christiansen’s success is the work she does is different from the traditional ways.  Anger solutions are an alternative to Anger Management.  She has a multi model approach.  Julie takes the best models from all therapies and adapts to the client’s needs.  The program Ms. Christiansen has developed is used in high schools, prisons, community corrections, mental health facilities, addictions clients, and individual counseling.  Her program is very flexible and her clients she serves can be as young as seven and as old as 84.
