Celebrating her first year as vice president at SWC Group, Lori Monk draws upon 22 years of experience in the financial arena. Having worked with the financial group for the past 10 years, she has garnered a company-specific knowledge to educate and advise clients throughout the work-week. In five years, Ms. Monk would like to network more and have a greater presence.

Throughout her work-week, Ms. Monk draws upon her expertise in professional awareness, consulting, financial services, networking, and client relations to oversee the accounting and client services departments. Initially, she became involved in her profession because she wanted to become a certified public accountant since high school; both of her grandfathers were accountants. Ms. Monk began her career in 1995 at The CMI Group as a financial analyst.

In 2013, Ms. Monk earned a Master of Business Administration in forensic accounting from New England College, having obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas, San Antonio, prior. Since graduation, she has kept abreast of changes in her profession through her memberships with CPA, CGMA, AICPA, PCA, and Business Banking Strategic Advisory Council. During her free-time, Ms. Monk supports JDRF.
