Lois Scharnhorst became involved in her profession because she had been a court reporter for 24 years, and she wanted something different, so the past seven years she has been working as a clerk for Morton County District Court. Through her supportive mentors throughout the years, she continues to provide the court with expertise in management and organizational development. Ms. Scharnhorst attended the National Court Reporters Association State Leadership Conference in Tyson’s Corner, Va., in 1995.
