Attributing eight years of success to her hard work and instinct in making the right choices, Dr. Daria Taglioni continues her career as a senior economist at World Bank. There, she provides her expertise in international trade, globalization, and competition in supply chain production. Specifically, Dr. Taglioni works with other members to provide the vision, leadership, technical competence and management required to achieve objectives and improve competition in the export sector.

Initially, Dr. Taglioni became involved in her profession because she has always been interested in international globalization. Now, she specializes in contributions to the concept, design and implementation of economic projects and provides vision, insight and technical advice to research projects in an effort to increase socioeconomic statuses. She earned a Ph.D. in international economics in 2004 from The Graduate Institute in Geneva. In five years, Ms. Taglioni hopes to get more involved in European Government and economic consulting work.
