Wielding 16 years of experience in managing clinical research sites, Patricia Craigmile is currently in her fifth year at Iron Rock Research, Inc. As the clinical research consultancy’s principal and senior clinical research consultant, she provides clinical research monitoring in both device and pharmaceutical areas. With experience in various research areas, she has become an expert in Phase 1-IV, clinical research monitoring, line management and project management. In five years, Ms. Craigmile intends to travel less for the job and obtain a management position again.

Ms. Craigmile is animal activist and works with rescue horses and finds homes for them. She is a national disaster responder since the 1990s. She worked after the Oklahoma City bombing, Hurricane Katrina and a hurricane in South Texas and tornado in Texas, helping police, and firefighters in rescue and recovery. Initially, Ms. Craigmile became involved in her profession because of her prior experience as a paramedic working in a phase one unit.
