Company: West Bourbon Elementary School

Dedicating 31 years to working for West Bourbon Elementary School, Jackie Hall has become an expert as a physical educator, both as a teacher and a coach. Throughout the week, she teaches elementary physical education to the great youth of Uniontown, Ks., and has found primary education is a learning ground for her students as a growing part of the local society, and for herself as a professional educator. She also schedules events, as she performs duties of an athletic director and coaches volleyball.

Initially, Ms. Hall began involved in her profession through the inspiration she received from her mother, a music teacher, and her father, who was a coach and teacher. She believes her success stems from her colleagues, friends, mentors and parents, whom she credits as being profound role models throughout her life. In five years, Ms. Hall intends to continue teaching, learning, coaching volleyball and attending workshops.

In 1989, she graduated with a Master of Education in physical education from Pittsburgh State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Education in 1982. In 1996 and 1997, she was awarded outstanding young educator by Pittsburgh State University, and has been names outstanding professional of the year by Elite American Educators, and was featured for the Elite Radio Network and in Pro-Files Magazine. In her free-time, Ms. Hall supports Jump Rope for Heart for American Heart Association, and the American Cancer Society.
