After receiving a JD from the University of Notre Dame Law School (with honors), Irene Loftus continues to draw upon her education in her seventh year as co-owner of a corporate skills enhancement company. Priority Executive Development, LLC relies on her expertise in educating clients and health care administration to provide skills enhancement training and courses for businesses, and schedule leadership and executive training programs. Specifically, Ms. Loftus teaches and conducts the leadership courses.

Ms. Loftus attributes her success to her parents for instilling the importance of education and hard work in her. She became involved in this industry because she used to teach an undergraduate course in education and health care. She feels that her current career is just an extension of what she was already doing. In five years, Ms. Loftus would like for her career to remain on the same path, but she would also like to find more time to serve her community.

While studying at Notre Dame, Ms. Loftus earned the John Gardener Award. Prior to her JD studies, she earned a master’s degree in public policy studies at the University of Chicago. To keep abreast with changes in the legal field, she holds memberships with Scott County Bar Association, The Iowa State Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association. During her free-time, Ms. Loftus supports the Cardinal Stritch University.
