Company: National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches
Location: Dekalb, Ill.
Initially, Dr. Bobbie Cesarek became involved in her profession because she was drawn to gymnastics as a child. After completion of her education, she pursued work in the profession, and finds herself as president of the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches 35 years later. Now, Dr. Cesarek celebrates her fifth year of entrepreneurship, providing coaching, public speaking on the topic, and liaising with the NCAA.
Dr. Cesarek attributes her success to her parents. They were very hard workers and instilled in her that she could do anything she put her mind to, so she took this advice with her to Northern Illinois University to earn an Ed.D. In five years, Dr. Cesarek hopes to maintain status with collegiate gymnastics. She also hopes to continue traveling to schools around the country and promoting the program.
