With an insatiable resiliency, Rebecca Brumm has been determined to graduate at the top of her class (a male dominated program), as she is currently enrolled as a Master of Science candidate. Assertive in her field of study, she finds her studies in mental health counseling, focusing in the field of forensics, has contributes to her passion of life-long learning, and initially chose this field to give back to the veterans that served the U.S., and for the people in her community that suffer from mental illness.  Actually, Ms. Brumm’s graduation vision involves working with veterans and making an impact on the court system, while intending on staying professionally active until she’s 80 years old.  

Currently, Ms. Brumm lives in a rural area of Maryland with her husband on three-acres, and has found there is is a great need in my community for mental health counselors. She intends on giving back to her community through her positive attitude, creative and fun approach, and preaching the importance of education. Currently, Ms. Brumm keeps abreast of her profession with membership through Chi Sigma Iota Counseling, National Counseling Association, Cat Fancier Association, and ASPCA.

Ms. Brumm’s greatest personal accomplishment has been caring for her brother before he passed from cancer and taking care of her mother, who suffered from Lou Gehrigs Disease, before she passed. As she pushes on as a student, she looks to her father for inspiration, an 82-year-old who has worked full-time for the government in the Department of Defense as a chemical engineer; her retired at the age of 80, and continues to consult today. During her free-time, Ms. Brumm enjoys playing with her White German Sheppard Puppy and having big Sunday dinners at her father’s house.
