Irene Peters began her career in business administration in 1993 as an executive secretary at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals. For seven years, she remained executive secretary at the director of nursing for operating and recovery. Her duties there include maintaining the director’s calendar, all correspondence, telephones, nursing schedules, maintenance of all nursing protocols. Ms. Peters was also an active member of many hospital committees including conversion team during conversion of hospital wide computer systems and emergency inclement weather team responsible for arriving at the hospital within 30 minutes of inclement weather decisions to man the control desk and arrange transportation for doctors, nurses and technicians.
In 2000, Ms. Peters found a position as payroll and human resource manager at Millhier, Inc. There, she converted two payrolls (hourly and salary) from AS400 to ADT system, and was responsible for all human resource functions including interviewing, in-processing, arranging pre-employment physicals, payroll, counseling, employee benefits, layoff notifications, safety training and maintaining a team for emergency response. Before her current position, Ms. Peters was a legal department complaint coordinator at Wachovia Securities Financial Network and an accountant and office manager at Strickland Foundry and Machine Co., Inc.
Currently as officer at Admiral Security Services, Ms. Peters has provided the defense provider with extensive business acumen and well-rounded ethics since 2013.
