Attributing her success to her respect for others and thinking outside the box, Nancy Serozynsky continues in her third year as staff development coordinator and assistant nursing director at West Revere Health Center.  Wielding 43 years of experience in health care services, she provides the nursing home with expertise in the coordination of the wound and intensive care units. Specifically, Ms. Serozynsky reviews charts, assesses resident needs, communicates with department heads, and determines proper payments through Medicare and Medicaid.

Since Nancy was 2 years old she wanted to be a nurse, as she watched her aunt and great aunt conducting health care throughout her life. The advice she would give the younger generation of women entering the workforce is to treat people with respect in all aspects.  And you have to think outside the box. Ms. Serozynsky also teaches nursing at the Salem Hospital School of Nursing. Critical Care Nursing Association is one organization that has made a difference in her profession for her.
