She also does financial statements, interacts with clients and CPAs, and is involved with audits. Ms. Ugalde attributes her success to her mentors.

Initially, Ms. Ugalde became involved in her profession because she loves what she does. She loves numbers, loves to investigate and find the final result, and loves how numbers can give the answer on how a company works. She has received a bachelor’s degree in accounting at National University, is a certified bookkeeper, a member of AIM Bookkeeping Consulting, and has earned the Great Bookkeeper Award. In five years, Ms. Ugalde wants grow her business. She wants to manage a department where she has people under her, with more overseeing and delegation and client interfacing.
