Ms. Ogleton worked for the U.S. federal government for 27 years, where she worked in the information technology and computer programming departments. In 2015 she retired from being a notary. She has established the Carroll College Education Trust so that her descendants can attend college. Education is very important to her, as Ms. Ogleton has pursued a plethora of college courses, and continued to keep up with her certification as a Notary Public.
To keep abreast of her professional endeavors while retired, Ms. Ogleton holds membership with the National Notary Association. Initially, she became involved in her profession because the housing complex she lives in needed a notary for their documents and paperwork. In five years, Ms. Ogleton intends to continue learning, working, and dedicating more time to her love of genealogy research.
