Wielding an insatiable fearlessness, Elizabeth Dodson put her mind and confidence into a business, and it came out, HomeZada. Throughout a variety of other projects she’s working on, HomeZada is an easy-to-use home information platform to help clients improve value and save money through the entire homeowner life-cycle. She began the Tech@Sac Video in 2014 by developing a compelling, exciting video to tell the story of Sacramento’s growing tech and innovation community. This included on-camera interviews, dynamic music, and energized animation, the team was able to convey the many attributes of why tech professionals should build their careers and their companies in the region. In 2013, Ms. Dodson completed the National Home Disaster Story Contest 2013 for homeowners who have experienced a loss of personal property as a result of a tornado, hurricane, fire, burglary, etc. and filed an insurance claim and/or police report.
Ms. Dodson keeps abreast of changes in her profession through her membership with the CAM Committee of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She also sits on the board of the National Association of Professional Organizers. She has also been published a multitude of times, including most recently her article “Safety Grilling Tips” in Make The List, “Simple Tips to Help Aging Parents Manage Their Home” in Hitched, “Tips for keeping your home safe while you are away” through Examiner.com, and “You must be creative and functional when branding a new business” in Expert Beacon. Ms. Dodson is also the previous board member of the El Dorado Music Theatre, a group for children to participate in extracurricular activities to drive self esteem and confidence.
