Initially, Mrs. Joan Berry became involved in her profession because she had worked for a travel agency for 51 years, but was always interested in what made others tick. After her husband passed away, she studied as a life coach and decided to start her own company. For the past two years, Mrs. Berry has been the director and entrepreneur of her own private coaching consultancy, wielding a quality life coach certificate from The Wellbeing Institute.

As a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programmer, Mrs. Berry also serves as director of AudioNovo, plus The Vital Link in Auckland City, overseeing the daily business operations. Through the audio products provider, she helps clients through empowering them  through motivational customized personalized audio products. In five years, Mrs. Berry intends to make AudioNovo an international success, and perhaps take a less active role in the business, so that she may pursue public speaking.
