Drawing upon 24 years in the family and child law arena, Lydia Keephart continues as an attorney at Pellettieri, Rabstein and Altman. As a law firm, Pellettieri, Rabstein and Altman relies on her experience in child custody and law to serve their clients with complex custody relocation, achieving child custody goals through either child custody mediation or child custody litigation in any New Jersey court, and matching other attorneys’ qualifications in cases involving either marital or divorce law, or domestic partnership and palimony. In the coming years, Ms. Keephart would like to keep family law at the forefront of the legal system, cultivating a healthy generation of children even though they’ve gone through divorce.
Throughout her work-week, Ms. Keephart works toward protecting the best interests of your children by establishing and then enforcing child custody and child support agreements that address the issues most important to your children’s well being. This work includes legal and residential custody, parenting time and visitation, interstate and intrastate removal of children, child support and child support agreements, estate planning for the children’s education and financial future, healthcare insurance coverage, and family counseling for the children. Initially, Ms. Keephart became involved in her profession because she enjoys the challenge of helping clients and their children through a very tough time.
Having received a JD in Ms. Keephart in 1991 from Seton Hall University School of Law, she continues to achieve and draws from various memberships to groups such as the Committee for the Unauthorized Practice of Law, New Jersey Supreme Court. She also sits on the advisory board of The Bank if American, is an executive board member and co-founder of Saint Lawrence Rehabilitation Center/Morris Hall, an attorney coach at Lawrenceville School Mock Trial Team, and serves as an Inter Collegiate Mock Trial Competitions judge at Yale University. This year, Ms. Keephart earned the distinction of BV Distinguished Icon, having also achieved their Distinguished Attorney distinction this year and last.
