The most gratifying aspect of Dr. Cynthia Maddox’s career is being accessible to people facing difficulties. For 23 years, she has served as president and founder of Ace Horizons Corporation, chiseling away and refining her skill-set in special education. Through her school system, Dr. Maddox provides training educators to increase students’ scores and focus, educating students about finances and debt reduction.

Through her hard work and keen sense of work ethic, Dr. Maddox oversees computer-integrated learning systems, and develops the curriculum. Initially, she became involved in her profession through her lifelong desire to be a teacher. In 2013, she earned a Ph.D. as well as a master’s degree in special education from The College of New Rochelle, a Bachelor of Arts in Lehman College, took coursework at the New York University, and is a certified English teacher. During her free-time, Dr. Maddox supports the local food kitchen and the American Heart Association.

To keep abreast of changes in her profession, Dr. Maddox holds memberships with the Westchester chapter of the Parent-Teacher Association, New York State United Teachers, National Education Association, American Seminar Leaders Association, and the American Educational Search Association.
