Within 35 years, Jean Heaney has successfully led the full transition of a centralized home office account management team supporting over 6,000 clients to a decentralized field office support model. The transition was complex with converging people, process and customer impacts and sensitive. In the end, the transition was successfully accomplished with respect for impacted associates, no negative customer feedback and accolades for the planning, training and ramped-up execution from the field office staff and leaders. This was a high profile initiative with executive oversight accomplished successfully within a short six-month time frame.
Ms. Heaney is an experienced insurance leader with a wide ranging background. She has more than 20 years of experience as an operations and human resource leader in the financial service and insurance industry. In a woman’s in today’s world, what’s contributed to Jean’s success is her ability to multitask and give more than 100 percent to all her work. Her advice to the younger generation of women entering the workforce is caring for herself personally and professionally and understanding the benefits of their professional growth.
