Ms. Davis was a primary school teacher for 10 years. She joined the Australian Army and was involved in education for next 20 years. She left the Army and joined the Victoria Police and is working in its education support area. In five years, Ms. Davis intends to experience continued growth.

For the past five years, Ms. Davis has provided educational consulting services to the Victoria Police’s people development command unity. There, she works with police recruits and their qualifications, as well as detectives, designs learning and assessment programs, and ensures quality and standards as part of RTO compliance. She also conducts continuous improvement audits and course evaluations, providing advice on government regulatory framework and compliance. Ms. Davis believes her success in all these matters stems from her persistence and determination.

The highlight of Ms. Davis’ career was her nine-month army deployment to East Timor in 2003, as the commanding officer of the English language program. During that time, she taught East Timorese soldiers and redeveloped their training program. Now, in her free-time, Ms. Davis supports World Vision Inc., The Salvation Army, Australian Red Cross, and Country Fire Authority.
