For 53 years, Ms. Higgs has run a small in-home business called 4 Paws Bakery, where she makes pet food. She also makes birthday cakes for dogs and cats upon request. She has been disabled most of her life, so now she is trying to pay it forward by having employees who have disabilities. In five years, Ms. Higgs hopes to develop production of the wholesale distribution of pet products worldwide, and to pursue the development of a market for pet-clothing products.

Ms. Higgs believes she has keep in business for so many years due to her brute determination and dedication to quality assurance products. She has specifically been building expertise in handling business development and strategic marketing for quality assurance standards of baked products for pets. The advice Ms. Higgs would give the younger generation of women entering the work force is never give up and never quit.
