Attributing 15 years of success to her professional follow-through, Annette Sheeder continues in her 10^th year at the early childhood education provider, Greencastle Learning Center, Inc. As an expert in banking and customer services, she oversees the childcare center by handing all the daily operations and administration. Ms. Sheeder also provides a hands-on approach with children and parents, checks the numbers and financials, and ensures each work has their appropriate licensure.

The highlight of Ms. Sheeder’s career was bringing the center ‘out of the red’ within six months of opening, and having maximum capacity within five years. Initially, she became involved in her profession when she wanted to go back to college; her job at the time wouldn’t allow for the scheduling and she found a position in child care where the owner had also gone back to school while working and she loved that initiative. In five years, Ms. Sheeder intends to perhaps open a second site.

Ms. Sheeder received a Bachelor of Applied Science from Pennsylvania State University, as well as an Associate Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She also received Director’s Credential in Early Childhood Education and Teaching through Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. During her free-time, she supports Helping Little Hands.
