In 1986, Judy Smith and her husband took the adventure in buying a solutions and design company for special sealing needs in Raleigh, N.C. Upon purchasing the business, they named it Smith Seal of NC, her husband took over the management end, she did the financials, and they have successfully been running the company since. However, following her husband’s untimely passing 22 years ago, and i want to continue this, but not decided to keep it going with the company, learning a lot from how her husband.

The most gratifying aspect of Ms. Smith’s career is that the company has been successfully meeting the needs of customers with precision and speed since 1986. Since the company has been under her lead, she has become an expert in employee hiring and firing,, administration, accounting, finance, and operations. Ms. Smith has also brought the name into the ranks of the Top 100 North Carolina Small Businesses.

Over the next five years, Ms. Smith is in process of trying to hire sales men, such as developing a sales office with mechanical engineers that like to sell, as customers require much more knowledge.
