Wielding 42 years of health care experience, Donna Lynn Petry Ross began working as an independent registered nurse 15 years ago. Through her services, she provides expert nursing while overseeing crisis intervention services. She first became a registered nurse through Christ Hospital. During her free-time, Ms. Ross sits on the board of governors with the college conservatory for music at the University of Cincinnati.
Ms. Ross feels the biggest need in hospitals today is advocates, who can assess the patient’s needs that perhaps have been overlooked or forgotten, and act as a liaison between the doctor and the patient. With the under-staffing that is at a critical level, this would give the patient an extra sense of security that would extend from the hospital they return home. During her free-time, Ms. Ross supports the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
